The earlist and latest Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year day is the first day of every lunar year. Chinese lunar calendar, which has about 360 days a year, is different from the international calendar, Gorge calendar, which is a solar calendar with about 365 days a year. So Chinese New Year Day is neither as same as the international New Year Day, nor on a same day on Gorge calendar every year.

However, Chinese New Year day almost always lies in the 21th, January - 20th, Feburary of Gorge calendar. In the past 100 years the earlist and latest Chinese New Year Day was respectively in the 21th, January of 1966 and the 20th, Feburary of 1985. However, the record of the latest Chinese New Year will be broken in 2319. In 2319, Chinese New Year Day is on the 21th of Feburary.
